Annual 2007

The following employees are quarterly CLASS winners:

Jeff Lindstrom, Park Supervisor - Pioneer

Jeff was nominated for his outstanding support of fellow staff. During a weekend snow storm, Jeff came into work as a volunteer and helped coordinate the snow clean-up. Jeff's efforts allowed the work to be accomplished more quickly so that the staff could finish up and still have time to spend with their families over the weekend.

Elizabeth Mezzi, CAP Site Director Poe School

Elizabeth was nominated by several CAP parents for the wonderful work she does at for the children at Poe school. The parents who nominated Elizabeth commented on her wonderful communication, positive attitude and truly caring attitude. There were many examples of how Elizabeth was able to help children make a difficult adjustment. She is an excellent role model for the children.

Jesus Garcia, Roving Custodian

Jesus was filling in at Recreation Park and has made a great impression on all of the staff. He has been very helpful with getting the pool ready for summer, even going so far as to provide water bottles for overheated aquatics staff during a particularly hot training session. Jesus doesn't just do his job; he is always checking to see if there is something else that can be done or anyone else he can help out!

Kevin Keister, Lake Arlington Supervisor

An older man lost a cell phone at Lake Arlington. The phone was the only means of communicating with his family because he was temporarily without a home phone. Kevin found the owner and made a special trip to deliver the cell phone. This extra service was greatly appreciated by the gentleman and his family.

Flo Trunk, Camelot Park Registrar

Flo always makes sure that things are running well at the park. One time when a soccer coach quit during a practice, Flo handled the immediate situation by contacting the correct supervisors, but then she did even more. She attended the game on Saturday afternoon and talked with the parents and helped resolve the problems. Flo makes sure that everything not only gets done, but that it gets done right!
