Fall 2007The following employees are quarterly CLASS winners:Tom Divello, Pioneer Community Center SupervisorTom was working as a volunteer at Trunk or Treat when the skies opened up and it poured rain. Tom stayed after the event to help deflate and roll-up the large inflatable bouncer. This is a difficult task in pleasant weather and a near-impossible task in torrential rain. Tom stayed until the task was done preventing the bouncer from potential damage. Stephanie Tallides, Frontier Park Pre School TeacherStephanie embodies the pre school philosophy of learning through play! Each student is treats with respect and care and she always remembers the small things that make the program special for each child. Every child in the program receives a great pre school experience. Rita Lashway, Senior Center RegistrarRita makes the effort to make sure that everyone is taken care of. When a participant left without her purse, Rita re-opened the office, turned on her computer, found the contact information and called the woman. All of this was done in spite of the fact that her ride home was outside waiting for her! Jeremy Goodman, C.A.P. Activity Leader, Windsor SchoolJeremy makes an effort to help the youngest C.A.P. participants get involved. He took the time to help two kindergarteners learn how to play kickball and even ran the bases with one boy when he scored his first home run. Jeremy gave that boy a lasting memory and a greater love of the C.A.P. program!
