The following employees are quarterly CLASS winners:

Jean Cooney, Greenbrier CAP Site Supervisor

Jean always makes sure that all of her students feel welcome, but this time she made an extraordinary effort.  When one student was really struggling to adjust to the group, Jean met with the staff and devised a program to bring the child success in the program.  She made such a difference for this child.

Theresa Esposito, Swim Instructor, Olympic Indoor Swim Center

A parent nominated Theresa because she was such a great swim instructor.  The energy and enthusiasm Theresa brings to her class helped her son to make great improvements in his swimming. This was his best swim class!

Brien Halterman, Athletic Supervisor

Brien is the supervisor in charge of adult softball leagues.  One league participant wrote to praise the way Brien was able to accommodate her team in the league even though the team accidentally registered late.  The league needed to be expanded and additional fields were added, but Brien made sure that this team, members of which had been a part of Arlington softball leagues since the 1970,  was able to play.

Elke Knogl, Frontier Community Center Registrar

Elke has been a part of the Frontier community for many years and she has always taken care of the program participants.  She always makes sure that the rooms are arranged just the right way and that everyone has what they need.  She makes everyone feel comfofortable and welcome!

Sue Wojtalewicz, Recreation Park Pre-School teacher

Sue has been a much-loved teacher at Recreation Park for many years.  According to her award nomination, “She is the person you want guiding your children when you are not there.” She truly loves and understands the children and it shows in the effort she puts into each day.  She is able to understand what each child needs and motivate and challenge them to develop to the best of their ability.
