Summer 2007The following employees are quarterly CLASS winners:Robert Poelking, Pioneer Service CenterBob was working at Frontier Days and found a wallet with a large amount of cash inside. He turned the wallet over to his supervisor and the wallet was eventually reunited with its owner. Brittany Nolan, Lifeguard - Pioneer PoolWhen a lifeguard failed to show up for morning swim practice, Brittany came in at 6:45 am to fill the spot. Without Brittany, there would not have been enough guards and practice would have been cancelled. Matt Lindahl, Golf Instructor - Arlington Lakes Golf ClubMat was nominated several times by different participants in his golf classes. His patience, positive attitude and sense of humor were the difference between "surviving" beginning golf and enjoying the class. The personal attention that Matt was able to give each person in his classes made sure that they all learned a great deal. Jim Hoch Jr., Nickol Knoll Golf ClubJim had the foresight to assist an older golfer with his equipment without being asked. He noticed the situation and acted immediately enabling the golfer to have a pleasant round without the back pain he anticipated. Craig Loch, T-Ball InstructorCraig went out of his way to assure that a child in his T-Ball league with a peanut allergy was able to participate fully. On his own, Craig drafted a letter that was given to the parents of all participants informing them of the situation. In addition, when purchasing cookies for the final game, Craig made sure that the cookies were safe for the child! It was very comforting to the parents to have such a supportive instructor.
