Our group has traveled all over the United States and is planning more adventures for your travel pleasure. If you are interested in an extended overnight tour, please call our office to be put on our Interest List. Please note: an Interest List doesn't commit you in any way, nor does it guarantee you a reservation! More information regarding a tour will be sent to you if enough interest warrants developing a particular tour. Newcomer Tours- Wednesday at 10 amAre you interested in the clubs, classes, programs and activities available to you at the Senior Center? Special one-hour newcomer tours give you a feel for everything that happens here at the center. Check out the Arlington Athletic Club, Wood Shop, Dance Studio, Art Studio, and Gift Shop. See actual classes in progress and discover how much fun you can have at the center. Stick around for a game of pool or enjoy a cup of coffee with friends. We're looking forward to meeting you! A Word to Our CustomersPatrons under 50 years of age are welcome to register during dates indicated in-person at the Park District office in the Senior Center at no additional fee (provided space is available). A word about refunds: The senior trips, luncheons and contracted classes/special events are not refundable due to contract agreements. However, we'll be happy to help you sell your tickets if a waiting list has formed. All regular non-contract recreation programs are refundable for any unused classes, and of course, the Park District programs have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Please don't wait until the last minute to register for a program. At some point prior to the first class, we need to decide if enrollment is sufficient to hold the class. Do you have a class or recreation program you would like to see offered? We're always looking for new ideas and instructors to teach. Call Paula Barans, Program Coordinator, at 847-797-5341 with your ideas. Registration Notice! The senior program classes and tours are very popular and have maximum numbers that we can accommodate. If your registration is put on a "wait list" for a class, tour, or special event, the Park District staff will make a courtesy call to notify you of your status. If you have any questions regarding a refund for a senior program, please call 847-797-5341. Gift Giving NewsWe offer attractive travel gift certificates in all denominations for our one-day tour program. Give a special gift to the person who doesn't need anything, but might like to spend an enjoyable day visiting interesting locations. Gift certificates are also available for gift shop merchandise and Park District senior programs and special events. GuildersGuilders are volunteer crafters that work on seasonal crafts for luncheons, special events and other Park District projects.
