Diving Lessons: Our diving program promotes safety and skill achievement at all levels of progression. Divers are given specific goals at each class level to build the foundation for new and more complex skill development. Divers are encouraged to attempt new dives and explore the possibilities of what they can learn. The ratio is one instructor per six students. The three-step approach, front, back, and twist dives are all taught. Divers must be able to swim 15 yards.

Graduate Swim School: If your children have graduated from Swim School, this is the next step in their swimming lessons. Graduate Swim School continues teaching advanced swimming skills and also introduces basic water safety.

Junior Lifeguard Camp: This camp is designed for youth, ages 13-14 with an interest in becoming an Arlington Heights Park District Lifeguard. Students must be able to swim 200 yards, tread water for two minutes, and be proficient in freestyle and breast-stroke. The course introduces students to basic water safety, lifeguarding skills, and the Park District lesson program.

Inter-Park Swim Teams: This program is a great introduction to competitive swimming. Each pool in the Park District competes with its own team in five dual meets and the City Meet each summer. The program is open to swimmers ages 6-14. View IPST

Muskie Swim Team: This swim team is for 6-18 year old swimmers who have some recreational swimming experience. The Muskies compete with nearby Park Districts in several dual and invitational meets each season. View Muskies
