Summer Concerts



 

All Park District concerts are held at North School Park, Eastman Street & Arlington Heights Road unless otherwise noted.

All concerts are free. Bring a blanket or lawn chair.

Alcohol and dogs are not allowed in any Arlington Heights park.

In case of inclement weather, concerts are cancelled. Call the Hotline: 847-577-3003 ext. 1.

Bopology

Back by popular demand, Bopology brings nostalgia standards back to life with jump-n-jive good times from Frank Sinatra to swing era hits. Come early and get a seat because you are guaranteed to have a memorable musical evening. Bopology has gained the reputaion as a top swing band in Chicago and the Midwest.

Deuce

Deuce has been captivating audiences with their musical talent and showmanship for over six years. They are known to get a crowd out of their seats and grooving with each and every performance. Creating a remarkable mix of Chicago soul with blues, funk, jazz and rock, Deuces music is universal and does not bind to any specific genre. This enthusiastic performance is animated with their original songs and creative covers; this will be a concert you won’t want to miss.

Groundspeed

Groundspeed Bluegrass Band performs a mix of traditional bluegrass and newgrass tunes - keepin' the tradition alive. The band's four members blend banjo, guitar, dobro, fiddle, and upright bass, delivering the unmistakable and orginal American sound of bluegrass.

A concert with Jim Gill is an active sing-along and clap-along. Jim bangs out energetic rhythms on his banjo while everyone sings claps, jumps, dances and even sneezes along.

Dave Rudolf

Dave Rudolf's live Kid's show is a whole lot of fun. Kids as well as parents are either singing, on stage, making noises, or participating with Dave. Dave's show features such songs as: "Adventures of a Dog," "Perry the Petrified Pirate," "Quit Bugging Me," and "T-Rex." Get ready to laugh and have a whole lot of fun!

Always anticipated, the Navy Band plays traditional marches, patriotic tunes and contemporary classics. (The Military Band is tentatively scheduled. For unforeseen reasons, the band could be cancelled at the last minute. Please call and confirm before attending this concert.)
