General Park Rules
- Park hours are from 5 am to 11 pm, unless otherwise posted.
- Use of alcohol and drugs is prohibited.
- Motorized vehicles are prohibited.
- No dogs allowed.
- A Catch and Release policy is in effect at Lake Arlington. Only carp may be taken from the lake.
- Lake Arlington is situated in close proximity to several subdivisions. The Park District asks that you use courtesy and consideration when using the lake and surrounding property. Please be a good neighbor.

Derby Rules
- Youth under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the derby.
- Participants between the ages of 16 and 65 must have a valid Illinois fishing license.
- All fishing must be done from the bank. No fishing from the beach.
- All fish must be caught by hook and line only. Live bait, lures, and artificial bait may be used. Only one rod per person.
- All fish must be weighed, measured, and counted by a derby official.
- All fishing must be completed by 9 am and your Derby Registration Card must be received by 9:30 am.
- All fishing is catch and release only.

License and Fishing Equipment
- Participants between the ages of 16 and 65 are required to obtain a fishing license for this event.
- Licenses and fishing equipment can be purchased at Dicks Sporting Goods, Sports Authority in Arlington Heights, or online at www1.wildlifelicense.com/il/start.php
