The Arlington Heights Park District prioritizes the replacement and repair of its facilities or amenities through a comprehensive Capital Improvement Program (CIP). The CIP is a planning tool designed to guide the implementation of the District's Comprehensive Plan and to provide for the long-term investment and rehabilitation of parks and recreation facilities during the succeeding five-year period. The CIP is reviewed annually by the Board of Commissioners during the budgeting process and revised to prioritize the most important needs and to recognize budget constraints.
