Tennis Golf & Museum

The Tennis, Golf, and Museum Division provides a variety of tennis programs and opportunities at two indoor facilities, golf at two outdoor facilities plus an outdoor driving range and programs at the historical museum. The Superintendent of Special Facilities oversees operations of this division and works with the other department managers in a cooperative effort to maximize the efficiency of the Recreation and Facility Department.


Looking for great exercise and fun? Tennis provides a great social opportunity and aerobic workout. Our experienced tennis professionals offer progressive programs for beginners to experienced players. Play year-round at one of the Arlington Heights Park District two indoor tennis facilities:

  • Forest View Racquet and Fitness Club features six indoor tennis courts, six racquetball courts, a complete fitness facility, aerobics studio, and seven outdoor tennis courts, five of which are lighted.
  • Heritage Tennis Club features eight indoor tennis courts, lounge, locker rooms, snack bar, and nursery.


Golf is a lifetime sport, and the Arlington Heights Park District gives golfers the opportunity to play on quality courses at affordable prices. Our courses are professionally designed and maintained to provide the finest golfing in northwest suburbs of Chicago. Our teams of golf professionals have designed programs to enhance the fun of playing for everyone.

Arlington Heights Historical Museum

The Park District Museum program provides a broad spectrum of programs, activities and services relative to the needs and desires of the Arlington Heights community in cooperation with the Village of Arlington Heights, Arlington Heights Memorial Library, and the Arlington Heights Historical Society.

The Park District’s responsibility is to provide operation of comprehensive historical programs and events at the Museum. A full-time administrator coordinates the programs, services, facilities, staff, and volunteers.
