In an article published in the Daily Herald today, the Illinois Department of Public Health announced that some Illinois pools may be closed this weekend due to their non-compliance with safety upgrades on their drains.

 

Arlington Heights officials confirmed today that Olympic Indoor Swim Center is compliant with all Illinois State health regulations regarding drain safety and will remain open. The reported closing of some Illinois pools this weekend does not affect the Arlington Heights Park District.
