My name is Kendall Carlson and I am a proud member of the Arts Alive Staff.  I have lived in Arlington Heights for 29 years and recall fond memories of participating in the Arts Alive Camp as the child.  During the school year, I am a first grade teacher in Mt. Prospect.  I love my job and wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember.  For the past fifteen years, I have spent summers working for the Arlington Heights Park District as a lifeguard, swim instructor, concession cashier, and softball complex manager.  I am a proud graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign –Urbana, enjoy watching sports and spending time with family and friends!  I am looking forward to a creative summer at Arts Alive!
