Eastman Steet and Arlington Heights Road
Since December 1991, North School Park, Eastman Street at Arlington Heights Road, has celebrated the holidays aglow in lights - over 70,000 tiny lights. Installation of the display pieces begins the week before the Tree Lighting Ceremony. The Tree Lighting Ceremony is held the Friday after Thanksgiving approximately 4:30 pm.
The Village of Arlington Heights installs a decorated evergreen on the Park's fountain and lights up the streetscape trees. Our Park District craftsmen have created a number of display pieces over the years that carry out a children's toy theme.
Visit North School Park and enjoy the decorations through January 6.
