Taste of "The Chairman's Board"

Wednesday, September 7 - Doors open at 11m for Noon Luncheon

He's back! Peter Oprisko joins us again with a brand new show; "The Chairman's Board." This fabulous show is a tribute to the 20th Century's most revered pop singers. Members of "The Board" include Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney, Sammy Davis Jr., Tony Bennett, Perry Como, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Doris Day and more! Each member of "The Chairman's Board" has a unique, inspiring story of success and a time-tested musical legacy that is unrivaled by even the best of today's performers.
 
Get ready to tap your toes and enjoy a delicious menu of a Caesar salad, meat lasagna and a chocolate parfait for dessert. Register in advance in the Park District office at the Senior Center because tickets will not be sold at the door. The Village Bank and Trust of Arlington Heights sponsors this luncheon. There is a cash bar. This is a contracted event, not refundable. The Cotillion is easy to find, located at 360 S. Creekside in Palatine near Northwest Highway and Route 53. Please notify the Park District of any food restrictions when you register, not the day of the event.
 
Please note: The doors open at 10:30 a.m. for a free 30-minute financial seminar by Village Bank and Trust of Arlington Heights. The seminar is held in the same room as the luncheon. Register for the seminar when you register for the luncheon. Special door prizes and giveaways for those who attend the seminar at 10:30 a.m. Doors open exactly at 11 a.m. for the event.

Oktoberfest

Tuesday, October 11 - Doors open at 11m for Noon Luncheon
Cost: $29
Don't miss this afternoon of good food and great fun! Lunch at The Cotillion includes roast loin of pork, mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, cream of vegetable soup, bread and butter, coffee or tea and pumpkin pie for dessert. Back by popular demand, our entertainment is The Johnny Wagner Band. This four piece band entertains in full German attire. They play traditional Oktoberfest music with a nine foot long Swiss Alphorn, Australian fife, tuba, trumpet and drum trio. Tickets are not sold at the door. Cash bar.
 
The Cotillion is located at 360 S. Creekside in Palatine near Route 53 and Northwest Hwy. A seminar presented by the Law Offices of Drost, Kivlahan, McMahon & O'Connor will take place at 10:30am.
 
Please register for the seminar when you register for the luncheon. Doors open at 11:00am for those not attending the seminar.

Holiday Cheer Party

Thursday, December 8 - Doors open at 11m for Noon Luncheon
Cost: $29
Celebrate the holidays with your friends from the Park District! For your main course, choose from roast sirloin of beef, salmon, or chicken marsala (chicken breast with mushrooms and marsala wine sauce). Also enjoy salad, green beans almandine, twice baked potato, rolls & butter, coffee or tea and New York Black Cherry ice cream for dessert.
 
Doors open at 11am and lunch is served at noon. Out entertainment is A Very Classical Blast Christmas, known for their medleys of popular holiday and classic rock songs. Members of this talented 5 piece band have performed with the Trans Siberian Orchestra, Mannheim Steamroller, Andrea Bocelli and more! Expect to hear the classics with a unique twist this year!
 
Tickets are not sold at the door. Cash bar. Complimentary fruit punch served before lunch. The location for the Holiday Cheer Party is The Meridian Banquets, 1701 Algonquin Road, Rolling Meadows. The party is sponsored by Village Bank and Trust of Arlington Heights.
