Class Descriptions

 

Functional Strength & Cardio

The focus in fitness these days is functional exercises — exercises that simultaneously use multiple muscles and joints to improve muscular endurance, overall strength, coordination, balance, posture and agility. FS&C combines intervals of functional strength training using a variety of weight and resistance equipment, combined with intervals of high intensity cardio training.  Get a challenging, effective and fun full-body workout as well as prepare the body for everyday, real-world activities. back to grid

Group Power

Blast all your muscles with this high-rep weight training workout. Using an adjustable barbell, weight plates and body weight, Group Power combines squats, lunges, presses, and curls with functional integrated exercises. Dynamic music and a motivating group atmosphere will get your heart rate up, make you sweat, and push you to a personal best! Power Up! back to grid

Moves That Groove

An aerobic workout inspired by dance moves and patterns. Move, groove and smile your way through this workout. back to grid

Cardio/Strength Interval Challenge

Tone N’ Sculpt (T&S)

Why weight? Strength does a body good! A great toning class using hand weights, the step, tubing, bands, and stability balls. Please bring light hand and ankle weights if possible. All levels are welcome! back to grid

Total Body!

A combination of strength/resistance training with intervals designed to boost your energy and increase your heart rate. All levels welcome. back to grid

Cardio Combo

This class blends a variety of core formats (step, kickboxing, dance, hi/lo, etc) with sculpting for a dynamic calorie burning workout.

Core Flex and Flow Yoga

Zumba

Zumba Fitness is a Latin-inspired dance-fitness program that blends red-hot international music and contagious dance steps to form a "fitness-party" atmosphere that is fun and addicting! Wiggle, shake and dance those calories away. back to grid

Yoga Night Cap

Relax and unwind with this candlelit yoga class focused on dissolving the tension of the day and replacing energy stores for the upcoming week.

Zumba Step

Forget everything you know about "Step." Zumba Step is step toning and strengthening for your legs and glutes. It's all of the Zumba fitness-party fun you love. back to grid

 A workout focused on core conditioning to the MAX as well as strengthening the upper and lower body for a well-rounded workout.

Boot Camp

 A combo of cardio and muscle conditioning skills in a circuit training format designed to provide an amazing workout.

Restorative Yoga

Do you find yourself feeling depleted at the end of your week?  Come to class and restore your body and mind with the use of props to support postures and breathing exercises to allow restoration.
