Arlington Heights Park District - Moving to a Mask Recommended Environment

Effective Monday, February 28, Illinois’ indoor mask mandate is set to expire.

The Arlington Heights Park District will transition to a mask-recommended environment for patrons and staff following updated guidance from the Cook County Department of Public Health and the Governor’s office. Per the updated guidance, proof of vaccination will not be required to visit our health and wellness facilities.

We encourage everyone to continue wearing masks, in alignment with guidance from state and local public health departments and the Centers for Disease Control; however, as of February 28, masks will not be universally required.

From the beginning, our goal has been to keep our patrons and staff safe while keeping our facilities and programs open and operating.  As we navigate these changes, we will continue to communicate with residents, and we ask that our guests remain respectful to each other and our staff.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as the Arlington Heights Park District navigates these changes. Please continue to refer to ahpd.org for updates.
