Where will bag/backpack donations go?
Children’s Home and Aid
Children’s Home + Aid remains committed to improving the lives of children and families throughout Illinois. As a leading social service agency, Children’s Home + Aid serves nearly 40,000 children and families in need each year. It delivers over 70 social service programs throughout 40 Illinois counties. Although it has grown significantly over the years, Children’s Home + Aid remains dedicated to Rev. Will I receive tax write-off receipts when I donate bags to “Cases For A Cause”?
The Cases For A Cause campaign run by the Arlington Heights Park District, which benefits two different donation centers (Children’s Home & Aid & Journey’s: The Road Home), is not legally able to provide tax refund receipts to donors. To qualify for a tax-write off you will need to donate directly to those donation centers.
