We will send you detailed information once we receive your sign up form.  Thanks.

Arlington Heights Park District applied for and received a $10,000 matching grant for the development and installation of an approximately 18,000 sq.ft. pollinator habitat on the north side of Lake Arlington adjacent to the ComEd power easement.

The special focus for the 2018 grant was Pollinator Protection.

This project will rejuvenate the natural areas of Lake Arlington with vast amounts of showy, colorful wildflowers, soft grasses encompassing the lake for park users to enjoy while also providing habitat and increased water quality for wildlife.

ComEd has committed support to municipalities; townships; counties; park districts; conservation and forest preserve districts in northern Illinois in the form of funding for some expenses toward creating or enhancing pollinator habits.
