Jarrett Payton came to visit roughly 400 1st through 6th graders at Pioneer Park on Wednesday July, 15th. His visit was part of his NO BULL Project, which is an anti-bullying program he has developed with his foundation. It covers the importance of growing up in a safe and non-threatening environment and how kids should not tolerate bullying of any kind. He told a lot of great stories about his father, Walter, and about how he shaped his life. The kids were all very interested in everything he had to say and he was kind enough to pose for photos and sign autographs after the presentation. The Arlington Heights Park District was ecstatic to be able to host such a gracious and powerful presence in the Chicago land community and looks forward to hosting more mentoring programs in the future.
