NOMINATING PETITION FILING FOR PARK BOARD
Two Commissioners for the Arlington Heights Park District will be elected to four-year terms at the April 2, 2019 consolidated election. To be a candidate, interested persons must file nominating petitions signed by 115 qualified voters who are residents of the Arlington Heights Park District.
Nominating petition sheets may be circulated beginning Tuesday, September 18, 2018. They are available at the Park District Administration Center, 410 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Completed petitions must be filed with the Park District Secretary between December 10 through December 17, 2018 during normal business hours of the Park District Secretary – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Park District Administration Center, 410 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights.
Candidates for the office of Park Commissioner must live within the Arlington Heights Park District and must also file a statement of economic interest with the Cook County Clerk. A statement of candidacy, the nominating petitions, the receipt of the economic interest statement, and a loyalty oath (optional) must be filed with the Park District Secretary during the dates and hours listed above. Commissioners serve without compensation.
