The Arlington Heights Park District at the Senior Center is offering a free, Grannies at the Barre workshop on February 26 from 3:30-4:30pm.. Join Pilates and Barre Instructor Denise Schmit for a new fitness class that combines Pilates and Yoga principles, utilizing the ballet barre.

This is a great class for those who would like to regain or build strength and to prevent falls. A reservation is needed so please call 847-797-5341.

The Arlington Heights Park District at the Senior Center is offering a free Irish Ceili Dancing workshop. Ceili Irish dance is similar to square dancing, but is set to Irish music, jigs, and reels. Maureen Connerty Krause has been dancing for years at the Irish American Heritage Center in Chicago. So put on some comfortable shoes, and join the fun! You don't have to be Irish to enjoy these great folk dances!
This type of dancing is not what the young people in the costumes do! Come over to the Arlington Heights Senior Center located at 1801 W. Central Road in Arlington Heights on February 24 at 2:00-3:30pm. Reservation is needed: please call 847-797-5341.
