Park District Fitness Expo to Feature FREE Demos and Nutritious Samples

 
Arlington Heights, IL. – (December 17, 2014) – The Arlington Heights Park District invites anyone interested in giving up the struggle to get fit in the New Year to its first-ever Fitness Expo on January 3rd.
 
The FREE Fitness Expo will be held at the District’s newly renovated Camelot Community Center on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 9:00am – 12:30pm and the whole community is invited. Camelot Community Center is located at 1005 E. Suffield Drive in Arlington Heights. In addition to demos there will be smoothie samples provided by Pure Juice Café, healthy salad samples provided by Corner Bakery Cafe and Nutrition advice provided by a Jewel nutritionist.
 
The event is open to adults ages 18 and up and everyone is encouraged to come dressed to participate or simply spectate as others enjoy a variety of fitness class demos throughout the event. Park District fitness instructors will lead demonstrations in Yoga, Indoor Cycling, Zumba and more! Locker rooms will be available for use.

Staff will also be available to provide information and to accept registrations for the variety of fitness classes offered by the park district starting on January 3rd. Classes include everything from student athlete training, weight management, aqua fitness, yoga and indoor cycling. The first 200 attendees will receive FREE giveaways!
