Details:

Partially owned by the Park District and partly leased from the Village, these passive-use segments of land are in the older Scarsdale neighborhood. The Park District owns two triangles at the stone entrances off Northwest Hwy. that flank the Rose Garden.  The Village owns the long, winding Windsor Parkway, the small Rose Garden and two other triangle properties on the interior side streets of Chatham-Carlyle-Derbyshire and at Stratford-Mayfair-Drury. The Park District manages all these properties through an intergovernmental agreement. There is no walking path or sidewalk in this neighborhood but if you wanted to stroll through the grass along Windsor Parkway, it's nearly a mile loop from Kensington Rd. to Northwest Hwy. (.95 of a mile). These great expansive spaces have a variety of tree species and offer good shading. There is a small brick memorial garden at the Kensington Rd and Windsor Drive entrance.
