About The Program: The Arlington Heights Park District dance programs offer a diverse and skill-building curriculum of professional, educational and fun classes for all ages.  Our dance instructors are trained professionals looking to give each participant a great class experience and foster their love of dance while developing poise and self-confidence.  Our mission is to advocate artistic excellence through creativity and self-expression.

Fall Dance Placement Letters
Fall class placement letters were mailed to current students on July 25.  Those who did not receive letters or are new, please contact Kyle Donahue.

Fall Dance Session

No dance classes:

Sept. 1-3

Oct. 31 after 3pm

Nov. 20-25

Makeup classes will be scheduled Dec. 17-22, if needed.  If any classes are missed fall session due to weather or instructor illness, we will be scheduling makeups that week.  Please keep these dates free.

Dancers who enroll in the fall session receive priority registration before Nov. 7 for the 17 week winter/spring recital

Important Dance Dates

Oct. 9: Fall Enrollment closes

Oct. 22 to Nov. 6: Priority Pre-Registration for Current dance students to register for the same class.

Nov. 7 to 9: Current dance students can transfer into a different dance class, if spots are available.

Dec. 4: Resident Registration opens at 10am

Dec. 11: Non-Resident Registration

April 30 at 6pm: New Parent Volunteer Meeting

May 3-9: Dress Rehearsal & Photo Week

May 10-11: Recital Dates - Friday, May 10 & Saturday, May 11 (Times will vary.  You may be scheduled for any recital Friday after 4pm or Saturday.)
