Cultural Arts Supervisor, Kyle Donahue
Cultural Arts Coordinator, Amy Braheny

About The Program: Our Drama classes help students develop self-confidence and the ability to express themselves to an audience.  Students will explore role-playing through a variety of different tools including, but not limited to, improv games, vocal and physical warm-up techniques, character exploration, scene development and more.  Class emphasis is on controlling the voice and body to display emotions and utilize the senses.  Our drama instructors are professional educators and actors.  Our mission is to advocate artistic excellence through creativity and self-expression.

Drama & Music Classes

Summer performing arts classes are scheduled to begin in-person, if allowed and safe.  If it is not safe to hold classes in-person, classes will be held in-part (or in-full) virtually.  Class capacities will be considered at that time, and waitlisted participants will be contacted in the order of the waitlist.  If classes are held virtually, Zoom information will be emailed at least 24 hours before the first scheduled class.  Please contact KDonahue@ahpd.org if you are registered and have not received Zoom information the day before class is scheduled to begin.
