Recreation and Facilities Department, Centers, Aquatics, Lake Arlington and Preschool/Day Camp

The Centers, Aquatics, Athletics and Lake Arlington Facilities provide a variety of programs at the five community centers, Melas Park and sailing programs at Lake Arlington. The Division Manager of Recreation and Facilities oversees operations of this division and works with the other department managers in a cooperative effort to maximize the efficiency of the Recreation and Facility Department.

The Park District operates five community centers at Camelot, Frontier, Heritage, Pioneer, and Recreation Parks. Large District-wide programs, supervised by one of the recreation supervisors include dog obedience, gymnastics, karate, yoga, and garden plots.
