Staffed Birthday Party Packages

Book your child's next birthday party with the Arlington Heights Park District and let us do the work - your child will love the party, and you'll love the convenience!   

We supply activities, crafts, supplies, and a party host to set up, clean up, and organize activities, and a professional instructor to lead themed activities like sports or crafts. We don't supply food or beverages. However, if you'd like to bring a cake or other snacks, just include that information when you register. While and our hosts will serve the treats in the last 20 minutes of the party. Please be aware, an adult with the party must be present at all times during the party.

Registration opens approximately two months in advance and closes two weeks before each party date. Party dates, times, locations, and themes are set and may not be changed. Available dates fill up quickly, so please book early!

Party includes

• Party host
• Staff-run activities and activity supplies
• Light decorations including tablecloths, centerpieces, and a personalized birthday banner
• Room set up and clean-up
• Guests will either take home completed crafts or, for parties that don't include crafts, a themed gift

Party themes

• Sports Party: 4 years+

  Are you an athlete, a sports fan, or do you just have energy to burn? We have the party for you! Includes exclusive use of the Recreation Park gym and an adjacent party room. A professional instructor leads games in the gym, and we have a variety of options to choose from when registering! Please be aware that the Recreation Park building is not ADA accessible.

Fees

• $375 for Park District residents and $425 for non-residents.
• Payment is due in full at the time of reservation and includes a non-refundable $75 booking fee.
• The standard party package includes the birthday child and up to 14 guests.
• You may register for a $25 additional party package to add up to five additional guests.
  • The $25 flat fee is a flat fee for 1-5 guests, not a per guest fee.
  •  You may only register for one additional guest package.
  • Once you've registered for your party package, click again on the link below and register for the additional guest package.

Party room rentals during open swim

Reserve a party room for your exclusive use during open swim for a fun and fantastic swim party!  

Party rooms seat up to 32 people, and reservations include 40 wristbands, allowing you to invite extra adults to help supervise younger guests. All attendees two years and up must wear a wristband to access pool decks and the party room. Renters are responsible for room set up and clean up, distributing wristbands, and for supervising their guests at all times.

Cancellation policy - please read carefully!

• All cancellations must be submitted, in writing, to Cari Boyle, Recreation Supervisor, at cboyle@ahpd.org. We are unable to accept cancellations by phone or voice mail. The date we receive written notice of cancellation determines your refund eligibility and amount.
• All refunded money will be posted to your Park District household account.
• All parties and party room reservations include a $75 non-refundable booking fee.
• Requests received:
  • at least 30 days prior to the event date are eligible for a full refund after deducting the booking fee.
  • 14 to 29 days prior to the event date are eligible for a 75% refund of the balance after deducting the booking fee.
  • less than 14 days prior to the event date are eligible for a 25% refund of the balance after deducting the booking fee.
