At the IPRA/IAPD Annual Conference, Carrie Fullerton, the Executive Director of AHPD, was honored with the prestigious Robert M. Artz Lifetime Achievement Award. This award is presented to an individual who has truly devoted their career and made an impact on the parks and recreation field.
Her career spans more than 30 years and is marked by countless achievements and transformative contributions that demonstrate her unwavering commitment. Through Carrie’s leadership, greenspaces, community centers, museums, fitness and golf facilities, and outdoor aquatics have been revitalized, a $9.9 million dollar referendum passed in Bloomingdale, OSLAD and PARC grants were secured and so much more.
