This week, Governor Pritzker announced that Arlington Heights Park District is one of the agencies across the state to receive an Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant! Thank you to Governor Pritzker, our legislators and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources for their work on securing this critical funding. This $600,000 grant will go towards making proposed improvements to Flentie Park including:
• Playground Renovation
• Court Game (options include sand volleyball, bag toss, ladder toss or badminton)
• Ballfield Improvements
• Basketball Court Renovation
• Gaga Ball Pit
• Pedestrian Path Improvements
• Picnic Shelter
