Holiday Tree Lighting

Kick off the holiday season with the Arlington Heights Park District and the Village of Arlington Heights Special Events Commission at our annual North School Park tree lighting ceremony! Enjoy holiday-inspired music and dance performances, buy a hot cocoa or tasty treat, visit the AHML Bookmobile, and join the countdown as we flip the switch on over 100,000 tiny lights. Pre-performances begin at 4:30PM followed by remarks at 5PM and the lighting ceremony at 5:15PM.

Don’t miss the Free Family Fun and coordinated countdown at Harmony Park from 4:30-6:30pm with live reindeer, ice carving, caroling and more! Trolleys with Dickensian characters loop between the two parks, so catch a ride and see it all!
