Southeast park is located in a residential neighborhood bordering Mount Prospect. It features a lot of open space with mature trees. The park includes 2 tennis/pickleball courts, roller hockey courts; basketball, playground and soccer field.
Pickleball/Tennis Courts
The 2 outdoor pickleball/tennis courts are located next to each other on the north end of the park.
Basketball Courts
Carefree park has 2 basketball courts available for anyone to use.
These courts are not lighted. The tennis and pickleball courts, which serve a dual purpose, have stationery nets and the black lines represent the “kitchen” while the white line down the middle divides the service areas when playing pickleball. These courts are CLOSED during the winter season and will re-open in spring.
