Sunset Meadows Park & Basins I & II

Located in the southwest portion of the Village, Sunset Meadows is a mixed-use facility that has been developed as a sports complex. Surrounded by a mix of busy roads, single-family and multiple-family dwellings, as well as small office buildings, the park has a mixture of mature landscaping and new plantings. The outside path loop includes the public sidewalk along Kirchoff and Wilke Roads and is 1.26 miles. The map shows this distance in red. The inner path around the parking lot, detention basin, sled hill and driving range basin is .87 mile. The map shows this distance in yellow.

Sunset Meadows driving rangeSeason

Sunset Meadows Driving Range opens (weather permitting), in April and closes at the end of September. Due to the range operating in a water detention basin, it can at times be too wet to open. Call 847-577-3965 to get the latest on range availability.

Driving Range Fees for a bucket of balls range based on bucket size from $6 – $20 dollars. A 10-bucket pass is $85. Seniors 60+ and Juniors 17 ys. receive a $1 discount off small or large buckets during the week. Ask about our Rewards program that earns you a free bucket!

Driving Range is open Seasonally, 9 am – Sunset
During the season, Sunset Meadows Driving Range is open 7 days a week generally starting at 9 am until sunset, but may vary depending on weather and conditions. Please call Arlington Lakes at 847-577-3030 if you have any questions.
Park Hours 7 days a week dawn to dusk

The Park is open 7 days a week, dawn to dusk
The east parking lot opens about 7:30 am and closes at 11 pm based on scheduled activities. This lot is accessible to the driving range, playground, sport fields and shelter. Early morning walkers can park in the west parking lot (Wilke Rd. near sled hill) from dawn until 11 pm. There is a playground, picnic shelter, synthetic turf athletic fields, a bocce ball court, and baggo game. A concrete walking/bike path surrounds the park and connects to public sidewalks. The outside path loop is 1.26 miles. The inner path loop is .87 mile.

Outdoor Bathroom Access is available early Spring through early Fall or until about November 15.
