The Arlington Heights Park District is leading a new planning initiative for Lake Terramere Park and will be submitting an application for funding assistance through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources OSLAD Grant.
All members of the public are invited to review the proposed concepts, ask questions and provide written comments. Proposed improvements include:
- Replacement of Existing Playground
- Construction of a New Fishing Pier
- Installation of a Sensory Garden
- Addition of a Standalone Game Table
- Installation of a Spot Kick Feature within the Existing Green Space
We encourage community members to show their support by signing a petition. The grant application deadline is Friday, August 21, 2026. We look forward to hearing your thoughts on the future of Lake Terramere Park.
